Big multinational specialized in electronical and electrical manufacturing, currently going under a digital transformation and looking for keeping on growing in their Barcelona's Data Hub.
Your main goal will be supporting effective decision making backed by data and aligned with the strategy.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Write communication and stakeholder engagement materials
• Facilitate training sessions for users, targeted for all of Schneider
• Design and monitor relevant dashboards for metadata management
• Participate in the functional management of data managers
• Develop and improve new or existing workflows for the data governance community
• Participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of automatic metadata extractions, and the exploration of their content
• Be in support of the definition of a start-up methodology in Collibra, for a project team or for a function
• Be the partner of metadata managers to collect needs and guarantee the integration, enrichment and consumption of new metadata
• Ensure version upgrades and the implementation of corrections, for all Data Governance technologies
• Facilitate user support meetings
We are looking for someone who has:
• At least 2 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, data modeling, and data architecture concepts
• Experience in designing metamodels
• Experience in designing and configuring metadata types and their modeling
• Experience in using API connections to ensure integration of other systems with the Data Governance platform
• Experience in data science project – development in python required
• Experience in developing dashboards and ETL flows – knowledge in the use of Tableau and/or Javascript development
• Understanding of technical metadata and their relationship with business metadata, ie with data elements, measures, indicators, etc…
• Communication skills and the search for compromise between stakeholders, in order to reach a solution despite the ambiguities and contradictions in the expressions of needs
• Good managerial skills to animate and coordinate the metadata team
• Fluent in English, accustomed to working in a multicultural environment
• Strong experience in using the Collibra environment: its operating model, its workflows, its dashboards and other functionalities
• In-depth knowledge of knowledge graphs
