If you have a passion for application architecture, you have built and operated applications and you consider yourself a full-stack developer this is your opportunity.
This is your job if you are familiar with the Java ecosystem, including the Spring frameworks, tools like Flyway or LiquiBase, and you know how to set up a DevSecOps/GitOps toolchain, JavaScript, Typescript, and Angular. You have used Kubernetes and the AWS/Azure cloud services to deploy applications. REST APIs and Kafka events feel natural to you but you know sometimes you still have to push files around as well.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies within Allianz Technology.
• Drive alignment of Allianz Technology and OE IT technology landscape with the enterprise architecture target picture, including system retirement
• Define, implement and maintain the IT architecture target picture to accelerate Allianz' future strategy and opportunities
• Ensure that Enterprise Architecture initiatives and Group IT Strategy regarding applications are achieved and milestones are met
• Establish the IT architecture framework and develop the IT architecture roadmap Conduct solution architecture reviews based on applicable standards and target blueprints as part of the supreme architecture governance board in Allianz Technology, following up on findings and supporting projects.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:
• Understanding of Application Architecture Domain
• At least 5 years of work experience as IT architect on any level
• Applying analytical thinking, moderation and presentation skills
• Optional: TOGAF certification or similar
• Exposure to IT architecture modelling tools and standards (ADoIT, Archimate etc)
• Profound communication skills and the ability to negotiate with a diverse audience, e.g. on senior level
• Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information
