Cookie Policy

At Talent Search People we use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it's used and deliver relevant content. This policy explains which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser when you visit. It lets the site remember information about your session (e.g. that you're logged in) and enables analytics or marketing tools to collect aggregate metrics about how the site is used.

Similar technologies such as local storage or invisible pixels serve equivalent purposes. In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

Types of cookies we use

We group cookies by purpose. Only strictly necessary cookies and anonymous analytics (Plausible) are active without your consent; the rest require you to accept the cookie banner.

1. Essential (always active)

Required for the site to work. Without them you can't log in, keep an active session or submit protected forms.

  • Session cookies: keep you signed in while you browse.
  • Authentication tokens: securely identify your account on each request.
  • Minimal functional preferences: e.g. remembering your selected language.

2. Analytics (Plausible, no consent required)

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages get visited, for how long and from which device types — all in aggregate. Plausible doesn't set persistent cookies, doesn't collect personal data and is GDPR + ePrivacy compliant, so prior consent is not required.

3. Marketing (Meta Pixel, requires consent)

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure campaign effectiveness, optimise audiences and show you relevant ads across Meta platforms. It only loads if you give explicit consent via the cookie banner.

4. Configuration & tagging (Google Tag Manager, requires consent)

Google Tag Manager lets us manage third-party tags and scripts from a single container. By itself it doesn't collect data, but it can trigger other tools that do. By default it's conditioned on your marketing consent.

Managing your consent

On first visit you'll see a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject the optional ones or customise your choice by category. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link available in the footer.

If you withdraw consent, the related cookies will stop loading and, where technically possible, we'll try to remove any previously installed ones.

Disabling cookies from your browser

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Bear in mind that blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site (you won't be able to log in, for example).

Every browser has its own settings panel — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Brave all let you manage cookies from their privacy settings.
