General Accounting Associate with German

Key Responsibilities

• You will act as the first point of contact for any accounting incidents, escalating when necessary.
• You will ensure compliance with HQ procedures, internal policies, and accounting principles.
• You will manage Record to Report activities.
• You will execute daily transactions and journal entries in line with SSC policies.
• You will handle the month-end close for assigned entities, including reconciliations, accruals, allocations, and variance analyses.
• You will manage fixed assets processes, including additions, disposals, leases, and depreciation schedules.
• You will prepare ad-hoc financial reports and ensure their accuracy and compliance.
• You will identify and propose improvements in accounting workflows and tools.
• You will collaborate on finance transformation initiatives to enhance integration and automation.
• You will maintain the integrity of accounting systems and internal controls under your responsibility.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or finance, ideally within a shared services environment
• Fluent in German and English (Spanish a plus)
• Proficient in SAP FI and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and sense of ownership
• Excellent communicator and team player in multicultural settings
