One of our clients, a global leader in FMCG, is currently seeking to hire an AI Transformation Lead for their site located in Barcelona, Spain.
The selected professional will play a key and highly influential role, responsible for driving Generative AI, LLMs, and emerging technologies initiatives to improve processes, optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and unlock new growth opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Digital IT & AI Strategy, this person will translate the AI strategic vision into tangible, measurable, and scalable outcomes.
Your Day-to-Day:
1. Strategic AI Identification and Incubation
- Identify and evaluate AI/ML use cases aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
- Lead fast, low‑cost Proof‑of‑Concepts (PoCs) demonstrating feasibility and expected ROI.
- Stay up to date on GenAI, LLMs, Computer Vision, and other emerging technologies.
2. Business Integration and Transformation
- Act as the AI Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating complex technical topics into actionable business plans.
- Redesign processes and systems with stakeholders to integrate AI solutions effectively.
- Drive adoption of AI tools through training, communication, and change‑management initiatives.
3. Partnership and Governance
- Collaborate with internal AI experts to ensure scalable, secure, and well‑integrated solutions.
- Support the evaluation and management of external AI vendors, consultants, and platforms.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI guidelines, privacy regulations, and responsible‑use policies.
- Stay updated on applicable regulations (including the EU AI Act) and work with the legal team on corporate implications.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is highly valued.
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML engineering, or technology consulting.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, and business applications.
- Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools and cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks).
- Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to communicate value and ROI to executive leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proactive, autonomous professional capable of managing multiple complex projects.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
