Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies aligned with the company’s business goals and market trends.
• Analyze market conditions and forecast future trends to ensure a competitive edge.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Supplier and Logistics Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality product procurement.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the selection of products to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards and align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
• Evaluate supplier and logistics partner performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Cost Management:
• Manage the procurement and logistics budget and ensure cost-effective practices.
• Monitor spending patterns and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks related to price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and logistics challenges.

Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the procurement and logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Set performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Work closely with the marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product offerings and launches.

Logistics Optimization:
• Oversee the planning and coordination of logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Optimize transportation routes and inventory management to minimize costs and improve service levels.
• Implement and manage logistics technologies and systems.

Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and present reports on procurement and logistics activities, savings, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and improve procurement and logistics processes.
• Develop and maintain procurement and logistics dashboards and KPIs.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the cosmetics or a related industry.
Proven track record of strategic planning and successful implementation in procurement and logistics.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement and logistics software and data analysis tools.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to manage budgets and financial plans.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in market research and trend analysis.

Personal Attributes:
Deep passion for the beauty industry.
Strong cultural understanding and sensitivity.
High proficiency in English; knowledge of Korean is a plus.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, particularly for management team collaboration.
