Our client is a technology services company based in Barcelona. They are specialized in software development for the cloud and they work for international costumers.
As a Product Owner your responsibilities will include:
- Be customer-centric, and translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Conduct interviews to gather the customer expectations via workshops, surveys, site visits and other methods.
- Conduct reviews of the business requirements with project team to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel might be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This role will be initially allocated to our aviation team. You will report directly to the CEO. The Product Owner role is to participate in the planning, coordination, solution design, solution development, and other activities related to the successful implementation of the respective product at clients. As a primary participant during solution design the individual will need to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders and end-users. The individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understanding of business requirements, and client understanding of the product and solution.
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
- University degree in engineering, computer science or related field OR demonstrated work experience.
Experience:
Min. 3+ years experience with product owner and/or business analysis, elicitation, modeling, and verification.
• Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software solutions.
• Demonstrated SCRUM product owner experience.
• Experience in the Aerospace Defense industry is considered a strong asset.
Skills:
