Our client is an important Dutch innovative company with an informal culture. They are also a market leader in Financial Management software for the Dutch accountancy market.
As a Frontend Developer you'll be in charge to develop the architecture and application. You will be based in our client's new development centre in Barcelona.
- Bachelor or Masters degree.
- Thorough knowledge of HTML, LESS en JavaScript.
- Proven experience with Single Page Application development (KnockoutJS/Durandal, React, Aurelia or similar libraries/frameworks).
- Proven experience with Test-Driven Development.
- Familiar with and intrinsically driven to apply known design patterns and best practises (SOLID, gang-of-four, DRY).
- Experience with professional version control software (GIT, TFS, CVS, SVN or similar).
- Understanding that developing is more than producing code candidates.
- Team player with SCRUM experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Availability to travel to the Netherlands for training and company meetings.
Additional requirements:
- Experience with functional programming (JavaScript or similar).
- Experience with reactive programming (RxJs, Bacon, or similar).
- Experience with mobile-first development.
- Experience with setting up front-end development environments, infrastructure and build processes (grunt, gulp, webpack or similar).
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial management (P&L, financial statements, balance sheets).
