Full Stack Developer

Your responsibilities:

-Work collaboratively as part of a small, cross-functional Scrum team, actively participating and contributing to Scrum events as appropriate
-Write code for user stories, conducting research, design and prototyping as necessary
-Implement unit tests, automated acceptance tests, and other automated tests as appropriate, and ensure code is checked in to the shared repository daily
-Implement and maintain front-end designs in HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
-Write clean, object-oriented PHP code, with or without frameworks as appropriate for the task at hand, as well as efficient SQL queries, with a focus on minimizing technical debt and complexity
-Implement and maintain WordPress websites
-Develop and maintain clear and complete documentation
-Work closely with QA to ensure that each user story satisfies the Definition of Done
-Provide operational support to applications and websites
-Troubleshoot, identify root causes of, and remediate complex technical issues

Essential Skills:

-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
-Motivated with a collaborative mind-set
-Well organized with superb attention to detail
-Previous experience in PHP development (2+ years) is a must
-Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
-Passion for quality, and knowledge of what it takes to ship high quality code
-Experience identifying, debugging and resolving complex production issues
-Experience working in a Scrum team or similar Agile environment would be a plus
