Senior IT Administrator

Your responsibilities:

-Manage, monitor and maintain both office network infrastructure
-Implement security hardening processes and procedures according to policy requirements
-Configure and manage Hyper-V physical servers that are used by Internal IT
-Implement, manage and maintain Veeam backups and restores on-site and off-site
-Assist with Disaster Recovery processes and documentation
-Implement system monitoring and reporting tools
-Assist with laptop installations, software licenses subscriptions, hardware purchases repairs and inventory upkeep
-Maintain and develop team knowledge sharing via online documentation tools
-Act as a mentor and trainer to Internal IT team members and other colleagues
-Provide technical assistance and day-to-day desktop support to employees in Barcelona and remotely to the Malta office
-Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills:

-Technical services oriented with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
-Solid knowledge of networking (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VLANs, printers, Video
-Conferencing, office access control and cable management - racking raised flooring)
-Excellent knowledge of server services (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Print services, Group
-Policies, Terminal Services, PowerShell scripting)
-Systematic approach in technical research, trouble shooting, documentation and change management
-Excellent grasp of Azure and Microsoft Office 365 cloud services
-High proficiency in office infrastructure
-Service minded to cater for Microsoft, Mac and also Linux users with a security-awareness approach
-Self-motivated with attention to detail and a can-do attitude
-Able to travel between offices whenever required
-Very good interpersonal skills
-Works well within a team
-Cisco, Security and Microsoft related certifications, or proven hands-on experience, considered an asset
