On this occasion, one of our clients—a European company pioneering in the immersive leisure sector—is looking to hire a Store Manager to lead the coordination of its location in Barcelona.
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for translating the brand strategy into daily operations at the immersive gallery in Barcelona. Your mission is to ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience while managing the business with a strong focus on sales, team leadership, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales & Business Growth
Drive sales across all in-gallery revenue streams: ticketing, upselling experiences, and shop sales.
Monitor and analyze KPIs (conversion rates, average spend, upselling performance) and take action to exceed targets.
Build a strong sales culture through training, goal-setting, and recognition.
Develop initiatives to increase footfall through local outreach, partnerships, and cross-promotions.
Outstanding Customer Experience
Guarantee excellent visitor interactions through onboarding, training, and team performance monitoring.
Inspire your team to create emotional connections that turn guests into fans.
Promote strategies to improve online ratings and Google reviews.
Operational Excellence
Ensure the gallery is well maintained, following quality and maintenance standards.
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement efforts.
Oversee reporting on visitor flow, sales data, and incident tracking.
High-Performing Team Management
Recruit, train, and develop talent with support from the central People team.
Conduct performance reviews and manage incentive programs and growth plans.
Foster a strong, values-driven team culture.
Manage scheduling and team logistics efficiently.
Budget & P&L Ownership
Take full ownership of your location’s budget and Profit & Loss (P&L).
Optimize operational costs while maintaining high service standards.
Monitor and manage commercial KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Experience & Background
4+ years of management experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (e.g. retail, hospitality, entertainment, tourism).
Proven track record in driving commercial performance and managing KPIs such as revenue, upselling, conversion rates, and average spend.
Demonstrated experience building, leading, and motivating high-performing teams.
Hands-on experience with budget management and P&L responsibility.
