Our client is an American manufacturer for Paints and Coatings supplying worldwide.

As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for controlling the sales plan within the region and manage a team of sales consultants, as your main duties you will have:

Sales:

-Growing top line sales within Spain
-Identify trends and make recommendations to increase sales based on industry and competitor insights.
-Identify ways to increase top line sales through promotions, training and other methods.
-Develop, promote, implement and evaluate strong business partnerships with relevant clients.
-Prepare the Annual Grow Plan (AGP) for the region that meets or exceed sales profit goals.
-Ensure that the company´s brands are leveraged across the customer base

Team Management and Development:

-Ensure that all team members can articulate clearly and impactfully the Features and Benefits of the Product Range, effective selling skills and product demonstration to drive product sales.
-Build a sales excellence plan to build a team of high performing sales professionals that are able to generate sales across a diverse customer base
-Ensure Territory Sales Consultants complete all required training courses.
-Responsible for the effective hiring selection of employees
-Create an environment that enhances motivation performance
-Continually evaluate the performance of the team to maintain an industry leading team of Territory Sales Consultants
-Ensure all team members have clear roles and responsibilities with clear objectives and KPIs
-Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports


We are looking for a candidate with the following profesional profile:

Qualifications and experience:
-Excellent level of Spanish and English
-Proven track record of increasing sales
-Ability travel and work a flexible work schedule. This includes evenings and weekends as needed.
-Must have a valid drivers licence
-Experience in sales B2C

Abilities:
-A highly motivated self starter capable of leading as well as adapting quickly to change
-A collaborative professional approach with an amenable style
-A problem solver and independent thinker capable of delivering sound arguments
-Excellent communication negotiation skills with ability to develop key relationships

Preferred:
-Prior experience in sales role preferably with a larger retail customer.
-Experience managing a large team of employees, preferable a Sales Service team, in a field organization.
-Experience with hiring, performance management employee development
-Portuguese and French is a plus.
