Our client is a multinational Japanese company specialized in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). With more than 150 thousand employees it operates in over 100 countries and counts with a wide range of products. it also provides services in more than 20 different languages.
As a NOC Engineer Team Leader|Shift Leader, you will act as a technical expert and adviser.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing detailed knowledge of the configuration of interlinked systems
- Implementing technical changes and building software regimes as well as contributing technically to service development
- Obtaining the information and data required to diagnose and resolve complex problems
- Maintains awareness of technical and service developments, taking the initiative to extend own knowledge to learn about products, technologies and techniques to deliver enhanced service
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- German (plus)
- Specialized university degree or equivalent education
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE
Experience:
- Proven experience in network design
- Networking hardware, especially from the Cisco Catalyst family
- Networking technologies, i.e. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching and subnet addressing;
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and fault finding skills
- Minimum of 3 years commercial networking experience
- Understanding of network security
