Our client is an R&D center involved in providing Research, Product Design, Development and Engineering to deliver best value to its customers. The center in Brno works on current and next generation products for Aerospace, Automation Control Solutions and Transportation Systems business.
As an Embedded Software Design Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
-Creating embedded software design platform concepts in cooperation with software design lead.
-Supporting product development by designing a software together with other team members in an international environment.
-Creating a safety critical driving software of combustion, Heating and Cooling control products and/or software for communicating combustion platforms according to the product requirements specification as well as international and internal company´s standards.
-Ensuring that all design activities are performed and documented in accordance to international as well as the company´s internal standards.
-Working within an international environment.
-Participating in multi-functional project teams (mechanical design, electrical design, software design, testing and processing) to achive quality, cost, investment and timescale targets.
We are looking for someone with the following:
Education:
-Masters level degree in Engineering or IT is required.
-University / Degree on Software Engineering is required.
Languages:
-Bilingual English/Czech skills are required.
-Other European language would be beneficial.
Experience:
-Previous experience with programming of embedded systems and demonstrated understanding of C-code programming of microcontrollers (2+ years).
-Experience working with software documentation systems.
-Knowledge of C language and Embedded Systems Assembly, is an advantage.
-Understanding of Software Design and Test Procedures.
-Management capability of Software Configuration and CMMi.
