One of our clients — a global leader in FMCG is currently seeking to hire an Content Manager in Barcelona.

The Content Manager will set the standard for content marketing excellence, ensuring all communications are strategic, innovative, and impactful across both offline and digital channels. Reporting to the Marketing Director of the Natural Specialty Business Unit, you will work closely with the Brand teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality content initiatives.

Content Strategy & Best Practices

- Develop and execute content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Ensure all content aligns with business goals, consumer insights, and the sales funnel.
- Define and implement content marketing best practices within the brand team.

Creative & Content Development

- Lead external agencies in the design, production, and optimization of engaging content across multiple channels (TV, print, POS, video campaigns, social media, display).
- Review content production budgets and identify efficiencies in production and agency fees.

Creative Optimization

- Continuously refine strategies and refresh creatives based on performance, promoting high-performing content using clear metrics and A/B testing.
-Share best practices across brands and foster content innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as the main point of contact for internal teams (brand, media & analytics, regulatory) and external partners (communications and content agencies).
- Ensure smooth collaboration and communication between all stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective content initiatives.

Performance & Optimization

- Monitor and optimize content performance to achieve business objectives.

- University degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience as a Content Manager, preferably in digital production agencies or in FMCG, organic/natural nutrition, sporting goods, or personal care sectors, ideally 5+ years.
- Excellent skills in preparing communication briefs integrating business needs and brand challenges.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning and business strategy to deliver winning communication initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of digital media touchpoints and metrics (social media, organic and paid search, display, email, etc.) with experience optimizing these channels.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
