One of our clients, a global leader in FMCG, is currently seeking to hire an Data Architect for their site located in Barcelona, Spain.

In your day‑to‑day:

 - Design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures and pipelines (ETL/ELT) leveraging modern cloud platforms such as GCP, while contributing to a multi‑cloud evolution (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure).
 - Define and maintain robust data models to ensure efficient storage and high‑quality analytical performance aligned with business needs.
 - Develop and deploy production‑grade data pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and data quality across all systems.
 - Drive data governance practices, implementing monitoring, validation, and lineage to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
 - Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-efficient use of compute, storage, and networking resources.
 - Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, CRM, marketing platforms) through scalable APIs and connectors.
 - Evaluate and introduce new technologies to continuously enhance the data ecosystem and support growth initiatives.
 - Partner closely with Data, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
 - Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data architecture, models, and processes.

- +5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) and modern data ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Dataform).
- Experience managing cloud environments (GCP, Azure) and data infrastructure.
- Familiarity with integrating enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, CRM platforms).
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in SQL and solid programming skills in Python (or similar).
