Our client is a global leader company in color and specialty chemicals.
As a Business Development Manager your main responsibilities will involve
- Technical manager for paper dyes providing expert support and the tools for the sales force to grow sales: answer technical inquiries, support Sales Department in promotion of products, assist in launch of new products and update technical information for products in dyes line.
- Customer visits and trial support: in coordination with local sales force, run customer trials with our products, contributing with the knowledge of correct application in the mill and offering solutions to unexpected problems.
- Training our sales force, new employees and customers preparing presentation material and practical laboratory demonstrations. Customer visits as required to present our products and know how.
- Support for Product Manager: support in customer request for quotation, manage sourced products, preparing stewardship forms for new product introductions and helping to reduce slow movers.
As a Business Development Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Education and experience:
- Ideally combined chemical and commercial education.
- At least 5 years of experience in paper industry is a must.
- Technical experience with dyes is a plus.
Skills/knowledge:
- Expert knowledge on paper dyestuffs is a plus.
- Good communication and presentation skills, fluent in English is a must.
- Strong analytical and structural thought.
- Quick thinker and problem solving skills.
- Availability for travel 30% of working time.
