As a Backend Developer, you will be working in the R&D division and reporting to the Technical Manager. Your objective will be to architect, develop, maintain and support our client's cloud based software strategy.
You will be responsible for:
-Driving the development of our client backend application.
-Building our client core infrastructure for their platform whilst working closely with the mobile and frontend application development.
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualification
-Degree in Software engineering or similar
Experience
-At least two years experience in backend development
-Experience with Git
-Experience with scripting language such as shell, python
-Experience with Java (Spring/Rest) and SQL
Further Qualifications:
-Proven experience in building or using APIs and authorization protocols
-To be familiar with frontend development and work eficiently with the following technologies: JS, AngularJS, CSS, SASS, JSP
-Experience with Amazon hosting services including Elastic Beanstalk and SQS
-Experience with high-level software design including design specifications and architecture decisions for scalable and high available environments
Is a plus:
-To be familiar with Codeship and Ruxit
-Experience with Project Management
-Experience with OAuth protocols
-Experience with Scrum
-Knowledge in automated testing
-To know an additional language such as german or french
