- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to deploy and manage applications in a containerized environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment of applications and infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Management of cloud infrastructures in AWS with a focus on EKS, EC2, IAM and S3.
- Support for applications written in Python and Java using clean code.
- Optimization of Java build processes.
- Design of efficient and scalable operating concepts and processes together with the team. Assumption of responsibility and continuous improvement of a secure, high-performance, automated, highly stable and trouble-free system operation.
- Collect, analyze and check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into technical software design.
- Design of the architecture and adherence to the architecture principles, IT strategy, IT security and all legal and regulatory requirements with regard to compliance and data protection.
- Maintenance and optimization of the relevant systems, ensuring performance and availability as well as version and patch management.
- Configuration and support of applications and services related to data engineering and data science in the Allianz Cloud.
- Support and interaction with data scientists and data engineers within the Allianz Group. Writing technical documentation and applying best practices.
- Provision of new services - Development and maintenance of automated processes for the enablement of application teams.
- Working with agile tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Sonar Cube and others.

- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of site reliability engineering or DevOps engineering
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and deploying applications in a container environment (e.g. CKA/CKAD/CKS certifications)
- Hands-on experience with AWS and managing cloud infrastructures
- Programming skills in Python and Java and Bash
- Experience working with Git for version control and knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools such as Jenkins.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or similar qualification
- Good written and spoken English skills
