As an HRBP, you will:
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with leaders and teams, ensuring HR strategies, processes and practices are effectively implemented and aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business across all People & Culture matters, providing expert HR guidance in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Provide purposeful, forward-thinking coaching and feedback to managers and employees at all levels, addressing employee relations issues, performance challenges and organizational needs.
- Lead and manage Employee Relations activities, acting as a trusted advisor to managers in complex people matters to ensure fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
- Manage and oversee disciplinary processes, including investigations, sanctions, warnings and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with Spanish labor legislation and internal policies.
- Lead and support termination processes, including dismissals, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation and appropriate documentation.
- Ensure company compliance with all existing governmental, labor and social security reporting requirements.
- Partner in the preparation, review and management of all required HR documentation in compliance with Spanish labor law.
- Lead employee relations investigations related to policy breaches, misconduct, absenteeism, performance issues or legal violations, ensuring confidentiality, fairness and timely resolution.
- Advise managers on working time regulations, overtime authorization, shift planning and cost control, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions when needed.
- Partner with operational leaders in workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels across all departments, aligned with operational and budgetary needs.
- Demonstrate strong judgment and thought leadership when making HR-related business decisions, balancing employee experience, operational needs and legal compliance.
- Take accountability for continuously evaluating and improving the employee lifecycle, ensuring all processes are compliant, efficient, aligned with company values and fit for purpose.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional who meets the following requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a start-up or hyper-growth environment.
- Commercial, highly results-oriented, and solution-focused mindset, with strong strategic planning and business awareness.
- Proven ability to energize, inspire, and lead teams, with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong experience in culture, change management, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Pragmatic, flexible, and resilient leadership style, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish employment law and related regulations.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
- Proven experience handling multiple Collective Bargaining Agreements and Works Council negotiations.
- Relevant professional degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent professional experience).
- Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
