As a Mission systems Software Engineer you will:
- Be Responsible for writing code to interface with payloads onboard
- Be Responsible for writing code to interface with modems/radios onboard the aircraft and within the ground control system
- Work independently to understand all interface requirements for modems/radios/payloads and write the low-level code to remotely manage these systems
- Work with other team members to define the overall aircraft networking architecture, communications protocol, and equipment requirements
- Work with other engineers to develop a test, verification, and validation environment involving flight simulations to test end-to-end system performance
- Write code in SCADE/C++ based on DO-254
- Write code on top of a real-time operating system for safety-critical applications
You are the person we are looking for if:
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computer Science
- you have Experience writing code to interface with subsystems onboard aircraft
- You have Strong coding skills. Must be proficient in writing code for aerospace applications (this job requires you to write code and review/approve the code of others)
- You have deep understanding of C++ and/or SCADE
- You have demonstrated history across all aspects of the systems engineering process: requirements development, design, development, integration, test, verification, and validation
- You have experience with safety-critical software development
- You will work in Madrid
- You will have a stable position with a permanent contract
