Our client is a multinational company specialized in the chemical and pharmaceutical sector. The company has revenue of more than €40 billion with over 100.000 employees worldwide. This role is for the Barcelona office where many different nationalities are present.
The position is SAP BW/Hana Consultant ABAP Developer in the IT Operations Barcelona department, wich is part of the Service Center located in Sant Joan Despí.
The team in Barcelona is formed by 90 people with more thant 15 different nationalities and working in a global and international enviroment.
Main task and responsabilities of the position are:
- Support Product Cost Accounting and Consolidation team, in the new BW Hana platform
-Responsible of SAP BW/Hana programming and backend data modeling
-Responsible of new developments in ABAP OO
- University degree, preferably in information systems or comparable education
- 5 years of experience programming in ABAP OO
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing SAP Business Warehouse solutions.
- Appropriate SAP certifications are also a plus
- Ability to work in complex environments.
- Flexibility as well as the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Structured and methodical problem solving attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Mindset for continuous improvement/optimizations
- High level of English is a must
