At Talent Search People, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join a leading multinational company in industrial gases and engineering, located in Barcelona or Portugal.
As a Data Engineer you will:
- Focuss on building data pipelines and data lakehouses to best support the needs of our Data science and Data Analytics teams as well as our internal business partners.
- Combine an understanding of business processes and related data with your extraordinary capability in designing and developing targeted and reusable data models and lakehouses.
- Play an important role in improving the overall data architecture and platform strategy.
- Support in establishing and introducing data governance and lineage principles within the wider Linde organization will be part of the role.
What makes you great:
- You possess very strong skills in programming and data engineering (SQL /Python /R ) which you combine with a understanding of data modelling and data management processes as well as experience in creating data lakehouses or similar concepts preferred.
- You have a good understanding of platform concepts and system infrastructure and experience in gathering and understanding business requirements and turning them into data models.
- Willingness to travel to collaborate with the wider team and business (< 10%) is a business need.
