We are representing a leading company in the cosmetics sector, recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in skincare and body care products.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial reporting to management.
Duties:
- Manage the company's monthly closings, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Finance Manager and external accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Provide support on treasury related activities (AR AP) if required.
- Conduct financial and business analysis to support business decisions.
- Maintenance and design of reporting through Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial controlling or accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs. Advanced user of PowerBI is mandatory.
- Good command in the English language both in writing and speaking.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
