Our client is an important finance multinational company with office in Barcelona. They have presence in USA and France.
The person would be taking care for full accounting (under supervision of Chief Accountant) for one of our group companies which issues loans.
Responsibilities:
-Perform GL, AP and AR accounting, full accounting cycle
-Perform bank reconciliations
-Prepare direct debits
-Perform fiscal month closing activities
-Prepare tax reports and submit for Chief Accountant’s review
-Develop and provide process improvement recommendations
-Document accounting processes and policies
The ideal candidate will meet the next requirements:
-University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
-5+ years’ experience in accounting in an international work environment
-Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP
-Good MS Excel skills, experience with ERP systems
-Organized, goal-oriented and proactive personality
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
-Nice office in the heart of Barcelona
