As member of the Global Tax team you will play a key role performing international and local tax activities regarding Indirect Tax Compliance, Tax Reporting administration and Transfer Pricing, and providing tax advice within the company, contributing to continuous process improvements.
The position will be based at the Regional Delivery Centre (RDC) in Barcelona, reporting to Tax Manager.
As a Senior Tax Analyst you will:
- You will VAT Compliance for RDC Countries - ES, PT, FR, LUX, BE
- You will monitor SII process
- You will review of Input/Output invoices to verify accurate tax compliance.
- You will do monthly closing - VAT GL's clearing and reconciliation.
- You will follow up on legislative updates and business changes to ensure that the process are updated
- You will participate in Statutory Audits
- You will maintain CIT tax Tracker
- You will follow up and record Group CIT payment
- You will review Externals advisers' budget
- You will plan and manage of Tax compliance calendar to ensure all deadline and filings are met on time
- You will calculate royalties
- You will review Interco transactions and ensure that agreement are in place. Lease with legal department.
- You will fill and prepare Ecotaxes
- You will support other local and country specific compliance declaration for France
- You will support Corporate Accounting
You are the perfect candidate if you:
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or dual degree Finance and Law.
- You have 2-3 years of previous experience
- You have strong understanding of EU VAT requirements
- You have excellent working knowledge of Indirect Tax compliance processes
- You have understanding of general accounting rules and principles
- You have ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have a high level in English
- You have a high level of French (plus)
- You have good IT and Microsoft Skills (specially Excel)
- You have ERP Experience (SAP and D-365 experience)
- You have good communication skills; able to build strong relationships with other departments throughout the organization.
- You have excellent analytical mind-set and organizational skills
