American company dedicated to the Sports sector with offices around the world, is looking for a People Operations Manager in Madrid with background in event organization and HR level to be part of one of the most iconic operational stadiums.
Ensure that the management of people activities on the day of the event results in experiences for guests world class, achieved through the delivery of exceptional guest service.
Take full responsibility for the activities of people on the day of the event at the venue, but also contribute to people's agenda in all business operations. As an active and effective member of the team of people, this role is necessary to proactively drive the agenda in all dimensions to achieve a culture of high commitment, productivity and excellence in service.
Additionally, be responsible for monitoring variable payroll to ensure financial targets are met at the while meeting operational needs.
Provide strong and clear leadership and guidance to members of event day people teams to inspire and develop them to meet the vision, objectives and operational needs of the company.
The ideal profile will be one that meets the following requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role in an organization with a large variable workforce.
- Ability to use a personnel management time and attendance system at an advanced level.
- At least 2 years of experience managing relationships with multiple agencies (6+).
- Superior communication, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of management. Must possess a high level of skills of influence with the ability to constructively challenge as appropriate.
- Strong organization, time and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies and implement solutions.
- Ability to use a human resources information system, including access, entry and compilation of data.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
Desirable experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant human resources policies and procedures.
- Experience in applying HR advisory skills in a business model based in stadiums/events
- Good working knowledge of Spanish labor law
