Credit and Collection Representative with Portuguese

As a Credit and Collection Representative, your main role will be to manage the following tasks:

- Proactively handle collections within a portfolio of customers, based on policies and procedures defined by the company;
- Build relationship and credibility with internal and external customers;
- Analysing and deciding on the level of credit worthiness of customers (for payments and deliveries) based on internal and external information, and defined policies and procedures;
- Contacts and build connections with all stakeholders that potentially enhances collections (Sales team, Disputes management, Order entry, Billing, Collection agency, others);
- Resolving complex customer queries that directly support the payment of outstanding debt;
- Ensuring proper financial measures for collections;
- Advising on reconciliation and under/over payments;
- Handle insolvencies;
- Own more complex credit management issues when required from the Front Office teams;

You are the person we are looking for if:

- You have a native level of Portuguese and good level of English;
- You have an educational attainment level of 12th grade or degree in accountancy, management, economics or other;
- You have previous experience of 1/2 years in finance, billing, accounting, claims or similar areas (preferential);
- You have experience in supporting accounting closures, particularly in Cash Allocations, reconciliations of accounts and reporting (preferential);
- You have an excellent knowledge of Excel;
- You have knowledge of SAP (preferential);
- You have an excellent oral and written communication;
- You have a high level of organization and individual adaptation;
- You are pro-active, determined, easy for interpersonal relationships, resilient and self motivated.
