Our client provides businesses integrated software solutions with a complete range of software and hardware.
As a technical writer, you will develop, write, edit, and maintain - in collaboration with our business and
software engineers:
-User documentation
- Courseware
- Release notes
- Presentations
- UI text for our in-house developed applications
You will write all content in English.
As a translator, you will translate your content from English into Spanish and vice versa.
You will also play an essential role in developing new strategies to improve our software
documentation.
We are looking for a candidate with the following requirements :
-Excellent languages skills: excellent written English and Spanish (bilingual preferred).
- Bachelor degree in translation, instructional design, communication, technical writing, or equivalent
experience.
- Keen interest in information technology and computer software.
- Ability to explain complicated information in an accurate way through easy to read language.
- Eye for detail and consistency.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Experience as a technical writer in the software industry or a desire to develop technical writing
skills.
-Position is based in Barcelona, Spain, but may require occasional travel to other offices
