Optimization of selection processes

January 3rd 2023

In this post, we will talk about how we can optimize the selection process.

If we cover the term "recruitment", we understand that we go through a process from finding the ideal candidate to the final stage where we achieve the hiring of the candidate. If we take a closer look, we will observe that there are several methodologies to carry out from this line of events.

From the Operations team at Talent, we have focused our efforts on finding the details that make the selection process as effective as possible. Therefore, we will always take into account all the contributors and see how we can shorten the time of the stages prior to success. It is very useful to take into account the work that our consultant goes through. This can help us detect which aspects are of vital importance and which ones we can do without. In this way, we will achieve a path free of obstacles that may lead to incorrect decision making and prevent us from reaching our main objective, the selection.

If we had to generalize the fundamental aspects of process optimization it would be:

- The processes that the consultant performs from the CRM: For the selection to be carried out as quickly as possible, we need to provide access to the necessary information without needing a manual. To achieve this, we will try to automate the entire process and focus efforts on getting the candidate that fits perfectly with the position we want to fill.

- Communication with the candidate: We will provide tools to our team so that the selected person feels accompanied at all times. This is a fundamental aspect to have a positive impact both on behalf of the company and for the clients who need to fill a position in a specific period of time.

- Job portals: Before entering into a partnership with a company dedicated to the publication of employment, we will study their database and the scope they have. This way we can see the viability we will obtain with the selection processes that we carry out at that time. Since there is a wide variety of portals that are specialists in specific sectors and can facilitate the most favorable situation for us.

In short, the important thing is to make the person who is making a professional change feel comfortable and to ensure that his or her decision is always the right one.
