Product Development Manager (Food Sector)

As a Product Development Manager, you will be an individual contributor, leading end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects while working closely with the Head of Sourcing & Product Development, international suppliers and cross-functional teams.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Manage New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects from concept through to launch.
• Support product improvements, reformulations and product optimisation initiatives.
• Coordinate development projects with external manufacturing partners and key stakeholders.
• Manage product samples, evaluations and feedback processes.
• Conduct market, consumer and competitor analysis to identify innovation opportunities.
• Participate in product reviews, benchmarking and product testing activities.
• Coordinate packaging development and update projects.
• Review product information, packaging content and artwork materials.
• Ensure product information is accurate and aligned with internal requirements.
• Support packaging approval and implementation processes.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, Quality and other business functions.

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Marketing, Product Development or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience within Product Development or Product Innovation in the food (FMCG) sector.
• Exposure to international environments is highly valued.
• Understanding of product development processes within FMCG or food industries.
• Experience working on product launches, product improvements or innovation projects.
• Advanced level of English (at least a C1).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• High level of ownership and accountability.

Salary: Up to €41,000 gross annual salary.
