Our client is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company that employs almost 1,300 staff at 11 cities worldwide. It is a leader in the field of generic medicines. It has been working in biotechnology since 2007 and is developing fast into a ‘specialty pharmaceutical’ firm focusing on the therapeutic areas of Multiple Sclerosis and Oncology. The company is specialized in Production, Biopharmaceuticals, Research, IP, Registration.

This Finance team member is assigned to prepare reports for the manufacturing site and to calculate the pharmaceutical products costs. The controller is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.

Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end closing and the preparation of monthly financial reports.

- Interpret financial results, as well as supporting business leaders regarding financial matters.

- Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management.

- Prepare / support annual business planning and quarterly reforecast process.

- Standard costs maintenance in SAP and cost quotations for new products.

- Involvement in internal control and governance processes.

- To recommend improvements in the local controlling processes

- Support in Budget and Forecast reporting process.

- To understand the production performance, helping to reflect it from the financial point of view.

- Prepare the closing reports in excel: cost, efficiency and utilization. The information source is SAP.

- To prepare the standard cost per product, in order to make sure that the margin per product is accurate.

- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience preferably in an industrial environment.

- High level of English.

- High level skills on Excel and ERP experience.

- Result orientated and hard working with good communication skills.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven, high pressure, fast-pace team environment
