Senior Accountant with a High level of German

In your day-to-day:

○ You will be responsible for all accounting processes of real estate investment funds
○ You will participate in the preparation of annual, interim and special financial statements
○ You will carry out the regular valuations of the fund assets, and if needed, coordinate with the fund management
○ You will take over the quality assurance of sub-tasks such as rental debits, reserve determination, depreciation, compensation, capital gains tax...
○ You will ensure the correct booking of purchases and sales, as well as investments / assets
○ You will book all other relevant business transactions
○ You will be the contact person for the fund management of our clients, auditors and tax advisors on accounting issues

You are the person we are looking for if:

○ You have a good knowledge of German and English
○ You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or similar
○ You have a good knowledge of Accounting under investment law, as well as of related topics such as local GAAP and value added tax (VAT) law
○ You have experience in accounting or finance or an activity in auditing
○ You have a good knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and can work with SAP R/3 or other accounting software
○ You have a positive work attitude, a high level of commitment, and excellent communication skills
○ You're already based in Spain (mandatory) - ideally in Barcelona, Madrid or Málaga
